Tendering with IGDI

Everything you need before you bid

Institutional buyers require evidence that the supplier is registered, compliant and financially able to deliver. The checklist below is what a compliant bid typically contains.

Registration evidence

Your registration as a diamond company, in force at the date of submission, with the registration number quoted on the bid form.

Compliance record

Current anti-money-laundering training status for the bid team and a statement of responsible sourcing practice.

Certification capability

Access to an independent gemmological laboratory and an ability to supply certificates with every stone above the stated carat threshold.

Bids that fail on documentation, not on price, are the most common reason companies lose an institutional contract. The tender facility reviews your file before you submit.
